The petitioner, who possesses a caste certificate in an incorrect form had applied to respondent no. 2-competent authority on 06.09.2024, seeking the certificate in the corrected Form 'C'. 3.

The learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is ready to surrender the original certificate.

We dispose of the writ petition by directing the petitioner to appear before the respondent no. 2 on 07.10.2024, surrender his original caste certificate and respondent no. 2 shall thereafter immediately issue him a certificate in the prescribed Form 'C'.
