ORDER :- By this application, the applicant seeks to condone the delay of 136 days caused in filing the first appeal against the judgment and award dated 4.2.2019 passed by Motor Accidents Claim Tribunal, Shrirampur in MACP No.150 of 2016.

Having considered the reasons as stated in para. Nos. 2 to 6 of the application, it can be gathered that there are sufficient grounds to condone the delay. Resultantly, the application deserves to be allowed. Hence, the order :-

O R D E R

[I] Civil application is allowed.

{2} 948 sr.no..odt [ii] Delay of 198 days caused in filing the appeal is condoned [iii] Appeal be registered.

[iv] At this stage, learned advocate for applicant and respondent No.1 on instructions submit that the parties are ready and willing to resort for compromise before the Lok Adalat, which is now scheduled to be held on 3rd March, 2024.
