Mr. Barlinge, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, the tribe claim of the petitioner is pending verification with the Committee since 2013. The petitioner has appeared for the IVth year B.D.S. examination. The result of the said examination is withheld. The learned counsel further submits that, even one year internship is required to be done before any degree certificate can be granted. The learned counsel submits that, vigilance is already conducted and reply to the vigilance report is also filed.

The learned Additional Government Pleader on

2 wp 11587.17 instructions submits that, validation proceeding in respect of tribe claim of the petitioner is still pending. 3.

Considering the above, we pass following order. 4.

The petitioner shall appear before the Committee on 07.11.2017. The committee shall decide the validation proceeding in respect of tribe claim of the petitioner expeditiously and preferably within a period of four (04) months from the date of appearance of the petitioner. The respondent No. 3 shall not withhold the result and mark sheet of the petitioner's IVth year B.D.S. examination only on the ground that validation proceeding is pending. However, the degree certificate shall not be issued to the petitioner till the petitioner produces validity certificate. The writ petition accordingly is disposed of. [S. M. GAVHANE, J.] [S. V.
