The petitioner's application for furlough leave of 28 days has been allowed on condition of him furnishing surety bond in the sum of Rs.10,000/-.

The petitioner is unable to furnish the same. The petitioner is in open prison. We have seen number of orders of the concerned authorities releasing the prisoners in open prison on furlough as against the P.R. bond only. In view of the same, the order directing the petitioner to furnish surety bond in the sum of Rs.10,000/- is hereby set aside. The rest of the order stands unaltered.
