ORAL ORDER :

The petition is filed for giving directions to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner, submitted for giving him promotion on the basis of the course completed by him, which according to him, is equivalent to B.Ed. course. He has placed reliance on some previous Government Resolutions of the Government.

This Court had occasion to consider similar case in Writ Petition No.5943/2012 along with other petitions (Nagorao

W.P.NO.1035/2011 s/o Sakharam Deshpande Vs. The State of Maharashtra & others). This Court considered the subsequent Government Resolution dated 21.12.2011 and held that, the "Shiksha Visharad" Course completed from the Institute from Prayag is not equivalent to B.Ed. In view of the said finding of this Court, this Court holds that the petitioner is not entitled to get the promotion on the basis of the Course shown to be completed. There is no question of giving directions to the authorities to consider the representation of the petitioner on that basis. The petition stands dismissed.
