Delay of 645 days has occurred in filing the present appeals by the original claimants. The learned A.G.P. has opposed for condoning the delay stating that the reasons stated in the applications are not sufficient for condoning the delay.

On perusal of the applications, it appears to me that the delay has been sufficiently explained by the applicants. Hence the following order :
O R D E R
I) The delay caused in filing the appeals is condoned. II) Appeals be registered in accordance with law. III) It is clarified that the applicants/appellants will not be entitled for any interest for the period of delay, in the event the amount of compensation is enhanced in the present appeals.
IV) Copy of the present order be placed in the appeal proceedings.
V) Civil Applications stand disposed of.
