PER COURT :- 1.

The only grievance brought before us by the petitioner is that the order passed by the Vice Chancellor, Mahatma Phule Agricultural University, Rahuri, has not been implemented by respondent No.2. 2.

It goes without saying that the University is empowered under the Act, Statutes and Ordinances to ensure that the affiliated colleges do not over step and do not disobey the orders of the higher authorities of the University.

The order at issue is passed on 11.02.2022 and respondent No.2, being a college of Agriculture of respondent No.1 University, still does not act through the Principal investigator of the college. 4.

The learned advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents

wp11463.22 -2submits that the University will do the needful as is expected in law. 5.

In view of the above, this petition is disposed off. 6.

Needles to state, respondent No.1 University would be at liberty to ensure that the order passed by the Vice Chancellor, dated 11.2.2022, is complied with, on or before 15.01.2023. The University is at liberty to exercise it's powers as are provided under the Act, Statutes and Ordinances.
