PER COURT :- 1) Heard. Whether the decision taken in the Gram Sabha in respect of electing a Chairman of Dispute Resolution Committee (Tanta Mukti Samiti) should be by way of a secret ballot or by show of hands, is the issue raised in the instant petition.

2) The very object of the Dispute Resolution Committee is to ensure the resolution of dispute by amicable settlement. However, the petitioner is raising the dispute in respect of constitution of the Committee itself. In exercise of equitable jurisdiction under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India, according to us, this is not a fit case for causing interference. The writ petition is misconceived and hence rejected.
