Perused petition, reply and heard at length. The limited grievance made by the petitioner is that, though he filed complaint making serious allegations of misappropriation of funds, the Chief Executive Officer has not taken cognizance of complaint. The officers at lower level have acted in join hands with office bearers of Gram Panchayat to misappropriate the funds.

We find prima facie substance in the allegations. We think it fit to direct the Chief Executive Officer of the Zilla Parishad, Jalna to conduct inquiry at his level into allegations made in the complaint and take suitable action thereafter.
