By this Writ Petition, the petitioner is seeking direction that the caste claim of the petitioner which is pending before Respondent No.2Committee be decided expeditiously. 2.

In view of the fact that the petitioner is in service and requires caste validity certificate to be produced before Respondent No.3Employer, we deem it appropriate to direct Respondent No.2Committee to decide the caste claim of the petitioner within a period of six months from today. Till the decision is arrived at by Respondent No.2-Committee, Respondent No.3- Employer shall not take any coercive action against the petitioner.

We make it clear that the direction issued by us will operate only till the decision of the caste claim of the petitioner. 4.
