The petitioner tendered an application to the Central Information Commission, New Delhi, for providing the Bank account details in respect of one deceased Sahebrao Laxman Dalimbkar. The petitioner claims that she needs the details for prosecuting the civil litigation initiated against her. The information sought for by the petitioner is not liable to be provided under the provisions of Right to Information Act. The decision taken by the Central Information Commission is legal and proper and does not call for interference. It would be open for the petitioner to tender appropriate application in the pending civil proceedings.
