PER COURT :- 1) Heard the learned Counsel for petitioners and perused the communication issued by the Collector, directing extension of the time for deposit of the earnest money with a view to facilitate the prospective bidders to participate in the auction proceeding. In our view, no prejudice will be caused to the petitioners. This Court, in exercise of equitable jurisdiction, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, need not cause to interfere in the matter. The writ petition is devoid of substance and hence rejected.
