The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, the petitioner has applied for change of date of birth in the service book. The respondent No. 3 was directed to conduct an enquiry and submit the report to the respondent No. 2. The respondent No. 3 has already submitted that report to the respondent No. 2, however, the respondent No. 2 has not decided the same as yet. 2.

The learned Assistant Government Pleader accepts notice for respondent Nos. 1 and 2. The learned counsel accepts notice for the respondent No. 3.

In case the proposal for change of date of birth of the petitioner in the service book is pending with the respondent No. 2, then the respondent No. 2 shall decide the same on its own

In the light of the above, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
