The learned advocate for the petitioner submits that he was awarded contract for carrying out some public work pursuant to a government scheme. He submits that however, when the work was still going on, the Collector pursuant to the direction of the Government had directed the work to be stopped.
He further points out that by the subsequent Government Resolutions dated 19.09.2022 and 04.11.2022, the stay granted by the State Government earlier to the implementation of various schemes has been lifted.
He submits that in spite of his communication with the Collector, he has not been given nod for completing the remainder of the 1/2
35.wp.11107.22.odt work. It appears that in view of such supervening event, the petitioner had approached the Collector and had requested him to permit him to complete the remainder of the work by his communication dated 14.11.2022. 3.
We dispose of the writ petition by directing the Collector to take some decision on the application submitted by the petitioner dated 14.11.2022 as early as possible and in any case within four weeks from today.
