The learned counsel for the applicant has tendered across the bar this application praying therein for grant of leave to correct the name of the father of the applicant/appellant in the memo of appeal in Criminal Appeal No. 214/2013 and also praying for making necessary corrections as regards the name of the father of the appellant in the judgment and the operative part thereof, pronounced on 26th September, 2016.

It appears that inadvertently, the Advocate for the appellant in Criminal Appeal No. 214/2013 has mentioned the name of the appellant's father as "Raghunath" instead of "Ranghnath". The prayer is

criapln5624-2016 granted. Leave to correct the name of the appellant's father in the appeal memo is granted. The amendment be carried out forthwith.

It further appears that relying on the title clause of the appeal memo, the name of the appellant's father is typed as "Raghunath" instead of "Ranghnath" in the title clause of the judgment and the operative part thereof. In the circumstances, the name of the appellant's father as "Raghunath" be substituted with "Ranghnath" and accordingly, necessary corrections be made in the judgment and the operative part thereof in Criminal Appeal No. 214/2013. After such correction being carried out, the judgment be uploaded and fresh writ be issued.

The criminal application accordingly stands disposed of.
