Mr. Syed, the learned counsel for the petitioners states that the petitioners had applied for grant of permission to start 5th standard on the basis of natural growth for the academic year 2009-2010 and every year thereafter, i.e. for 6th standard 201011, for 7th standard 2011-2012. Instead thereof, the respondent has granted permission to the petitioner to run 5th to 7th standards from the years 2014-15 and not as per the natural growth.

The learned counsel submits that petitioners had, thereafter, filed an application on 22.08.2016 with respondent No.1 to issue corrigendum, thereby making necessary correction, however, no cognizance is taken of the same.

The learned AGP accepts the notice for respondent Nos. 1 to 4.

In case, the application filed by the petitioners for issuance of corrigendum to the Government Resolution dated 10.03.2016 is pending with respondent No.1 (page No.159), then respondent No.1 shall take decision upon the same on its on merits, in accordance with, expeditiously, preferably within 9 months.

Writ petition disposed of. No costs.
