By the present petition, the petitioner challenges the decision of the respondent - Commissioner, Education, Maharashtra State, Pune vide communication dated 18.03.2019. The proposal of the petitioner has been rejected on the ground that the petitioner had not passed the Teachers Eligibility Test.

Mr. Panpatte, learned advocate appearing for the petitioner has invited our attention to Certificate dated 28.08.2020 by which the petitioner has now passed the Maharashtra Teachers Eligibility Test - 2019. He prays for reconsideration of the petitioner's case on the strength of subsequent acquisition of the qualification.

In view of the above, we direct the respondent - Commissioner, Education, Maharashtra State, Pune to reconsider the case of the petitioner in the light of Teachers Eligibility Test qualification acquired by her vide Certificate dated 28.08.2020. The petitioner as well as the Management would be heard while reconsidering the case. The respondent - Commissioner, Education, Maharashtra State, Pune shall endeavour to take the decision as early as possible, preferably within four months from today.
