We have heard Mr. Urgunde, learned Advocate for the petitioner and Mr. Hon, learned Senior Advocate for respondent no. 4.

The award has been passed under the provisions of the National Highways Act, 1956. The petitioner has filed objection under Section 3H (4) of the National Highways Act, 1956. It is submitted that objection filed by the petitioner is not yet decided.

In view of that, the competent authority shall decide the objection filed by the petitioner as per the procedure laid down under Section 3H (4) of the National Highways Act, 1956 after hearing all parties concerned, on its own merits, expeditiously and preferably within a period of three (03) months from the date of appearance of the parties. The parties shall appear before the competent authority on 12.03.2019. Till the objection is decided, the amount shall not be disbursed to either of the parties.

Writ Petition stands disposed of accordingly. No costs.
