The Petitioner claims that he is eligible to be appointed as Cluster Head. The learned Advocate representing the Zilla Parishad submits that the claim for appointing the Cluster Head flows from the GR dated 01.12.2022. The Petitioner can be considered. If he is a Senior most employee, he would stand a chance of selection. 2.

The learned Advocate for the Petitioner submits on instructions that the Petitioner is satisfied with the statement. 3.

In view of the above, this Petition is disposed off. 4.

If the Petitioner is already functioning as Cluster Head as per the records of the Zilla Parishad, we direct that until the regularly selected candidate is appointed, the Petitioner may not be replaced by an ad-hoc appointee.
