Heard the learned counsel appearing for

cwp1328.16 the Petitioner and the learned A.P.P. appearing for the State. There is consensus between the counsel for the parties that this Petition can be conveniently disposed of by giving directions to Respondent No.1 to dispose of the pending proposal for release of the Petitioner, on its own merits. 2.

In the circumstances, the Writ Petition is disposed of with directions to Respondent No.1 to dispose of the pending proposal for release of the Petitioner, as expeditiously as possible, however within six weeks from today, if the same is already not decided. It is made clear that if no decision is taken within six weeks from today, we may pass separate order summoning the Secretary, to appear in person before this Court. 3.
