We have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Assistant Government Pleader and the learned counsel for respective respondents.

The grievance of the petitioner was with regard to admission to I year M.B.B.S. course for the academic year 20162017.

Even if the case of the petitioner is considered on merits, no relief can be granted to the petitioner, as even the last date for admission for the II year M.B.B.S. course thereafter has come to an end.

In the light of the above, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
