Ms. Sabnis, the learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would give the name of the eligible person from the family of the petitioner for appointment on compassionate ground in place of Anil Pekam, who died while in service.

In case such an application is made, the respondent shall consider his application on its own merits by following the proper procedure expeditiously, and preferably within a period of three months from the date of making application.

The writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
