This Contempt Petition is filed for non compliance of the order dated 07.08.2023 in Writ Petition No.9503 of 2023, the operative part of which reads as under :- "6. In view of the above, these petitions are disposed off, with a direction to Respondent No.5 to take a decision on the pending applications of the Petitioners.

We make it clear that we have not expressed any view as regards the jurisdiction of Respondent No.5. What we desire is, that Respondent No.5 would consider the law applicable and take a decision on these applications, leaving it to the Petitioners, thereafter, to adopt a course, as may be advised. Let such decision be pronounced by the District Collector within 60 days."

Learned Advocate for the Petitioners submits that the District Collector has passed the order on 20.09.2024, however he has not

considered the Judgment of the Hon'ble Apex Court of India. He submits that the necessary directions be issued. 3.

This is the Contempt Petition. The above orders are clear. Undisputedly, the Collector has passed the order. The order passed by the Collector shows that the order of this Court is complied with belatedly. The Petitioners would be at liberty to challenge the said order of District Collector, if they wish, before the appropriate forum. The Contempt Petition is accordingly disposed of. ( NEERAJ P.
