CORAM : R.M.BORDE & MANGESH S. PATIL, JJ.

DATE : 10th October, 2018 PER COURT:

1.

Tribe certificates issued to petitioners record description of tribe as 'Mannerwarlu' instead of 'Mannervarlu' which is in consonance with constitutional order. As a result of error committed by the issuing authority in recording name of the tribe, the Scrutiny Committee has refused to accept the proposal for verification of the tribe certificate.

2.

In the circumstances, it is directed to the concerned SubDivisional Officer to issue correct tribe certificate recording description of the tribe in consonance with the constitutional order, on submission of original tribe certificate by petitioners alongwith necessary application, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of one week from today. The application shall not be rejected on any technical ground and the concerned Sub-Divisional Officer shall issue tribe certificate without further enquiry in the matter. It would be open for the petitioners to

{3} tender correct tribe certificate for verification to the Scrutiny Committee and the Scrutiny Committee shall accept the proposal, if submitted directly by the petitioners and shall proceed to scrutinise the same.

3.

With the directions as above, writ petitions stand disposed of.
