There is delay of 3466 days in preferring the appeals for enhancement of compensation awarded under the concerned land references. Admittedly, the State has also filed appeals challenging the very awards. Had notices been issued in the appeals preferred by the State, the appellants herein would have an extended time to file cross objection within a period of one month from the receipt of notice of the appeals preferred by the State. 5.
