Mr. Tekale, the learned counsel for the petitioner, states that the validation proceedings in respect of caste claim of the petitioner as belonging to "Rajput Bhamta" is pending with the Committee, however, the College is insisting the petitioner for producing the validity certificate, else adverse action would be taken.

We have heard Mr.Bolkar, the learned counsel for respondent No.3 and learned AGP for respondent Nos. 1 and 2. None appears for respondent no.4 though served. 3.
Considering the fact that validation proceedings in respect of the caste claim of the petitioner is still pending, we pass the following order.

O R D E R
(1) Respondent No.2 Committee shall decide the validation proceedings in respect of caste claim of the petitioner expeditiously,preferably within six months, considering the fact that it is pending since March, 2014.
(2) The petitioner shall cooperate in expeditious disposal of the said proceedings. The petitioner shall appear before the Committee 6th February, 2017.
(3) Till the validation proceedings are decided by the Committee, respondents Nos. 3 and 4 shall not take any adverse action against the petitioner only on the ground that the validation proceedings are pending.

Writ petition is accordingly disposed of. No costs.
