Heard learned counsel for the applicants and learned counsel for the acquiring body.

This application is filed for directions to deposit the amount of compensation alongwith interest for the deficit period. 3.

Learned counsel for the applicants submits that this Court vide order dated 13th September, 2024 passed in Civil Application No. 7015 of 2024 in First Appeal No. 3034 of 2023 has passed the order and similar order can be passed in this application.

Learned counsel for the respondent opposes the application. 5.

We have gone through the application and the order cited by learned counsel for the applicant. In view of the same, we allow the present application in terms of the following order :- This Court, vide order dated 14th February, 2023 has granted stay to the judgment of reference Court subject to deposit of 70% of the compensation amount with interest which was to be deposited by 15th March, 2023. Admittedly, the acquiring body has deposited the said amount on 19th August, 2023 by calculating the amount with interest till 10th January, 2023. In view of above, we direct the acquiring body to deposit the interest amount from 11th January, 2023 to 21st August, 2023. The said amount be deposited within a period of six months. ( NEERAJ P.
