Respondent No.2, though served, is absent. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that validation proceedings in respect of the tribe claim of the petitioner is pending with the committee from 2011. The respondent committee be directed to decide the same expeditiously and till the same is decided, the petitioner be protected. 2.

Mr. Patil, the learned counsel for the Committee submits that in case the validation proceedings are pending, the same would be decided by the committee expeditiously.

In the light of above, we pass following order: i.

The committee shall decide the validation proceedings in respect of the tribe claim of the petitioner expeditiously, preferably within six months. The petitioner shall cooperate in expeditious disposal of the proceedings.

ii. The petitioner shall appear before the Committee on 10th March, 2015.

iii. Till the validation proceedings are decided, the respondent No.2 shall not take any adverse action against the petitioner only on the ground that the validation proceedings are pending. The respondent No.2 may take such other steps in tune with the judgment of the committee in the validation proceedings.

iv. Writ petition disposed of. No costs.
