The apprehension expressed by the petitioner is misplaced since names of the voters, in respect of whom application is tendered after the cut off date, are already included in the final list of voters. Such of the voters whose names find place in the final list of voters and have already been directed to be deleted are entitled to exercise their right of franchise. No interference is called for in exercise of extraordinary jurisdiction of this court under Article 226 of the Constitution of India.

With the observations, as above, the writ petition stands disposed of.
