The petitioner is a girl student, who has been granted the caste certificate dated 15.12.2016 indicating that she belongs to "Wani" caste. By the impugned order dated 07.03.2018, the claim of the petitioner for seeking validation of the said certificate, has been rejected.

The petitioner relies upon the Government Resolution dated 04.09.2014 as she desires to relinquish her claim for the "Wani" caste. She contends that she would surrender her caste certificate dated 15.12.2016 and she would

*2* 7wp13241o18 apply for a new caste certificate other than for the "Wani" caste, as may be permissible in law.

In view of the above, this Writ Petition is disposed off by recording the request of the petitioner as noted above. Needless to state, we have not interfered with the impugned order.
