The learned Counsel for the petitioners submits that they have filed online application for verification of their tribe certificates with the Scrutiny Committee. However, the Committee did not accept the physical proposal filed before it.

When the proposal is being filed, the Committee has to accept it and then it may pass orders on merits. However, it cannot refuse to accept the proposal.

The respondent-Committee shall accept the proposal submitted by the petitioners in physical form (if completed in all respects) and shall after hearing the petitioners, proceed further to pass an appropriate order

The writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
