The petitioner society proposes to celebrate Ganesh festival for 10 days. It proposes to install Ganesh Idol on vacant land that was released by the society for public purpose. 3.

The learned advocate for the Corporation submits that some private person claimed right, title and interest on some of the portion of the said land.

In the past the petitioner society was permitted to install Ganesh Idol on the land on which now they proposed to celebrate festival. In view of the same, we direct the Corporation to grant petitioner permission to install Ganesh Idol on the land on which third

1467.2023WP -2party do not claim right, title and interest. We hope, once the Corporation has granted permission to install the Ganesh Idol, the Police Authorities would follow the usual procedure. They may impose appropriate conditions. The petition, as such, stands disposed of.
