The learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner's proposal for validation of his tribe claim is pending with the Committee. It transpired to the petitioner that the tribe certificate of the petitioner issued to him bears the wrong spelling of the tribe. He seeks correction of the same.

The petitioner shall apply to the Committee for the attested copy of the tribe certificate submitted to the Committee. On receiving the application, the Committee shall give the attested copy of tribe certificate, submitted by the petitioner. The petitioner on receipt of the attested tribe certificate, shall submit to the concerned SDO

2 944-WP-11880-2019 along with the application including on-line application. The SDO on receipt of the attested copy, shall after verifying the fact that the original tribe certificate was issued by his office, issue the corrected tribe certificate to the petitioner within three weeks from the date of receipt of the attested copy. The petitioner on receipt of the corrected tribe certificate, shall submit the same to the Committee. The Committee on receipt of the corrected tribe certificate, shall decide application seeking validation of his tribe claim expeditiously, preferably within four months from the date of receipt of corrected certificate.

The writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
