The petitioners proposals for validation of their 'Mannervarlu' scheduled tribe certificates have been pending with the scrutiny committee for the validation.

It is being pointed out that a common vigilance inquiry has been conducted in respect of 7 individuals including the petitioners. Even the petitioners have been served with a copy of the vigilance report. It is being stated that they are even ready with the reply (page no.49) which they attempted to tender to the committee on 23.09.2024 but the committee refused to accept it.

We dispose of the writ petition by directing the petitioners to appear before the Committee on 22.10.2024. They shall tender their reply to the vigilance report which the Committee shall accept and thereafter decide their proposals, as expeditiously as possible, and in any case within four weeks thereafter.
