The petitioners are the land owners who have been praying for compensation for acquisition of their land by the respondent / authority.

Learned AGP on written instructions from the Special Land Acquisition Officer dated 11 September 2023 informs that pursuant to the directions of this Court already compensation has been disbursed to petitioner Baban Haribhau Wanve, Ramchandra Shankar Wanve, Shivaji Eknath Wanve & Gorakh Sona Wanve. He has also informed that the name of petitioner no. 5 does not find place in the award. In respect of

four other petitioners Babulal Vithal Wanve, Shahulal Kondiba Wanve, Babu Kisan Wanve and Vishnu Ramu Wanve, it has been mentioned that they were especially called upon by notice dated 01 September 2023 for execution of the sale deed. However, they have not responded and Shahurao Kondiba Wanve and Bansi Aba Wanve, have even refused to accept the notice. This communication expressly mentions that if those petitioners are ready to execute the sale deed, the compensation would be disbursed to them accordingly. This communication is taken on record and marked as 'X' for the purpose of identification. 4.

Contempt Petition is disposed of.
