This petition can be disposed of by directing respondents 1 to 3 to take decision on the application tendered by petitioner claiming rental compensation, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six months from today and, it is accordingly directed. Since petitioner has approached the authorities claiming rental compensation in the year 2010, he shall not be deemed entitled to claim interest on the amount of rental compensation till the date of presentation of application i.e. 19.03.2010. On determination of amount of rental compensation by respondents 2 and 3, respondent no.4 shall disburse the amount so determined, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six months. Writ petition stands disposed of.
