1] Heard.

2] This petition challenges the judgment and order dated 2nd September, 2014 passed by the Caste Scrutiny Committee No.1, Nasik Division, Nasik holding that the petitioner could not prove his claim that he belongs to Mahar Caste, which is a Scheduled Caste. 3] Having regard to all the circumstances that were produced before the Committee, the Committee found that the petitioner and his father practiced Christianity. On the other hand, the petitioner placed reliance on various documents, school certificates in which the caste of the petitioner and his relatives was shown to be "Hindu Mahar". The Committee, however, placed reliance on circumstances showing affinity of the petitioner's family to Christians.

We find no error in the appreciation

3] There is no merit in the petition. Hence, writ petition is dismissed.
