Heard the learned advocate for the petitioner, learned AGP for the State, learned advocate for the respondent No.5 and learned advocate for the respondent No.7. 2.

Only the grievance in the writ petition is the order dated 20-09-2024 passed by the learned Minister, Rural

(2) Development State of Maharashtra granting stay to the order under challenge before him.

The learned advocate for the petitioner states that dispute is about the disqualification of Sarpanch i.e. present respondent No.7. The dispute is raised by the petitioner. Concern of the petitioner is that respondent No.7 is elected in January, 2021 her turn will over in December, 2025. If the appeal before the Minister is not decided earlier the proceeding itself would become infructuous. Next date in the proceeding before the learned Minister is not given. Though the order is passed on 20-09-2024 till now there is no communication about the next date.

In view of above, it is expected by the learned Minister, Rural Development State of Maharashtra to decide the appeal as early as possible and in any case before 31-03-2025. 5.

With this, writ petition stands disposed off.
