DATE : 14th September, 2015 PER COURT:
In the affidavit-in-reply, it is recorded that the petitioner has an alternate efficacious remedy provided under Sections 33 and 34 of the Maharashtra Agriculture Lands (Ceiling on Holdings) Act, 1961, read with clause 9.7 of the Government Resolution dated 02.02.2012. It also transpires that the Committee has already taken a decision, which has been confirmed by the Collector, Ahmednagar and said decision is being assailed in the instant petition.
In view of availability of alternate efficacious remedy for redressal of grievance raised by petitioners in instant petitions, keeping open an option to the petitioners to avail of said remedy, writ petitions stand disposed of.
