Having heard the learned Advocates for the respective sides for quite sometime, after this matter was called out at 6.30 p.m., the learned D.S.G.I. submits that the Principal Accountant General, who is present in this Court, would donate Rs.10,000/- to the Advocates' Association of Bombay High Court, Bench at Aurangabad.

The learned A.G.P. submits that the Education Officer (Secondary), Zilla Parishad, Beed, would clear the amounts along

2852.23wp (2) with the interest calculated, as forwarded to his office, within 30 days.

The learned Advocate for the Petitioner relies upon the view taken by this Court in Vasant Ramchandra Potdar Vs. State of Maharashtra and others, 2019 (2) AIR Bom R 119 insofar as the interest amount is concerned. In the said judgment, 10% p.a. interest has been granted. The learned D.S.G.I. submits on instructions that 9% p.a. interest has been calculated in the present case.

The learned Advocate for the Petitioner is satisfied with the above.

In view of the above, this Writ Petition is disposed off. Needless to state, the order dated 23/08/2023, issuing the bailable warrant stands recalled and Civil Application No.11762/2023 also stands disposed off.
