The lands of the Applicants herein have been declared as 'Industrial Zone' vide the Notification under Section 1(3) of the Maharashtra Industrial Development Act, 1961, published on 25.08.2023. There is no further progress so far in respect of the acquisition of the said land. The Applicants are the farmers. The Respondent-State has made entries of these lands as 'proposed MIDC acquisition' in the 7/12 extracts, indicating the lands to be in the Industrial Zone. Because of such entries, the Applicants are not being granted Crop Loan by the Banks concerned,

2 912CA10957.2024.odt and they are not in a position to avail the facility of crop insurance as well.

It is not known as to when the State will start the process of acquisition of the said land. The Applicants are the farmers and they should not suffer because of the entries as referred to above made in the 7/12 extract.

In view of the above, it is made clear that the said entries will not come in the way of the Applicants for taking Crop Insurance and Crop Loan to the extent of Rs.40,000/- [Rupees Forty Thousand] per year]. The Applicants will get the next year Crop Loan only after repayment of the earlier loan. This arrangement shall be till pending the Petition.
