Heard. By this Writ Petition, the petitioner is praying a limited relief that the caste claim of the petitioner, which is pending before the respondent No.2 Scrutiny Committee, be decided expeditiously.

It has been pointed out across the bar that, the matter is ready for hearing. We, therefore, deem it appropriate to direct the respondent No.2 Scrutiny Committee to decide the

caste claim of the petitioner within a period of four months from today. Writ Petition stands disposed of.

Till the Caste Scrutiny Committee decides the caste claim of the petitioner, the respondent No.3 shall not take any coercive action against the petitioner only on the ground of pendency of the caste claim of the petitioner. 4.

We make it clear that the protection granted by this Court is restricted till the caste claim of the petitioner is decided by the respondent No.2 Scrutiny Committee. (ABASAHEB D. SHINDE, J.) (R.G. AVACHAT, J.) fmp/-
