The petitioner's case before us is that his name was earlier recorded in ward No.1 as well as in ward No.4, in the electoral roll for the Village Panchayat Elections, under different epic numbers. He made an application on 13.12.2021 for deletion of his name from ward No.4. The said request was accepted and his name was deleted. However, his name from ward No.1 was also deleted on 31.05.2022.

Shri Kadethankar, the learned advocate has appeared on behalf of respondent No.1. Shri Sharma, the learned advocate has appeared on behalf of respondent Nos. 3 and 4 and submitted that this error can be rectified in the light of the request of the petitioner, which is reiterated vide application dated 20.10.2022, addressed to
