Mr. Nagarkar, learned counsel for the petitioner states that the validation proceedings in respect of the caste claim of the petitioner is pending with the Committee.

The respondent/institution is restraining the petitioner from prosecuting the further studies. 2.

We have heard learned A.G.P. and the learned counsel for the University.

This Court vide order dated 13.10.2016 directed the respondent no.4 to accept the examination form of the petitioner for B.A.M.S. First year examination along with late fees. They were further directed to permit the petitioner to appear for the examination.

The respondent no.2 Committee shall decide the validation proceedings in respect of the caste claim of the petitioner expeditiously, preferably within nine months.

The petitioner shall cooperate in expeditious disposal of the said proceedings.

Respondent nos. 3 and 4 shall not refrain the petitioner from prosecuting further studies only on the ground that the validation proceedings are pending. Of course, respondent nos. 3 and 4 can take further course of action depending upon the judgment that may be delivered by the Committee in the validation proceedings.

Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
