Learned AGP on behalf of respondent No.4 / Tahsildar cum Returning Officer, has received a communication from the Research Officer / Member Secretary of the Divisional Caste Claim Validation Committee, Committee No.2 Latur that the caste claim of the petitioner herein is not pending before respondent No.2 / Scrutiny Committee under the Maharashtra Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, De Notified Tribes, (Vimukta Jatis), Nomadic Tribes, Other Backward Classes and Special Backward Category (Regulation of Issuance and Verification of) Caste Certificate Act, 2000 (Maharashtra Act No.XXIII of 2001), as the said proposal has been returned to Tahsildar, Devni, as the necessary documents by way of proof of supporting the caste claim were not available with the form.
