The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the validation proceeding is pending since the year - 2014. Twice the orders have been passed by this Court to decide the same expeditiously.

The learned Additional Government Pleader submits that the matter is pending at the stage of vigilance and the scrutiny committee is requested six (06) months time.

It is high time, we would initiate action of contempt against the members of the committee. In spite of directions to the committee to decide the validation proceeding within the stipulated period the committee has failed to decide the same.

In case, the proceeding is not decided within six (06) months from today we would initiate action of contempt against the members of the respondent scrutiny committee. The petitioner shall appear before the respondent scrutiny committee on 22.10.2019 and cooperate in expeditious disposal of the proceeding.

With these observations, writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
