The petitioner had applied for dealership of the retail outlet (petrol pump) of respondent nos. 3 and 4 which was reserved for the scheduled tribes category.

The learned advocate for the petitioner submits that his tribe claim has been invalidated by the competent scrutiny committee vide decision dated 02.11.2020. The petitioner has challenged the said decision in Writ Petition No.4421 of 2021. Interim protection only as against prosecution has been granted and no relief has been granted as regards the invalidation of his claim. He, therefore, submits on instructions that this petition is rendered infructuous. 3.

In view of the above, this petition is disposed of as being infructuous.
