The petitioner is already released. D.I.G. Prisons, Aurangabad was asked to remain present in view of the delay that had occurred in deciding the application. He has filed his affidavit in reply. It appears that he had not received the police report in time. Delay may not be then attributed to D.I.G. Prisons. However, he should develop a mechanism so that police reports are received within the limitation in which he is supposed to decide the applications.
