The validation proceeding in respect of the caste claim of the petitioner is pending since October - 2016. The notice is issued by the institution, proposing to cancel the admission of the petitioner on the ground that validity is not produced. 2.

We have heard the learned A.G.P.

None appears for respondent Nos. 4 and 5.

Considering the fact that validation proceeding is pending,

ORDER

I] The respondent No. 2 - committee shall decide the validation proceeding in respect of the caste claim of the petitioner expeditiously and preferably within six (6) months from the date of appearance of the petitioner. II] The petitioner shall appear before the committee on 12th March, 2018 and shall co-operate in expeditious disposal of the said proceeding.

III] The impugned letter is quashed and set aside. IV] The respondents shall not take adverse action against the petitioner only on the ground that validation proceeding is pending. However, the degree certificate shall not be issued till the petitioner submits the validity certificate.
