These are applications for condonation of delay of 835 days caused in filing appeals under Section 54 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894, by the State.

Heard the learned Assistant Government for the applicant - State and the learned Counsel appearing for the non-applicant - original claimant. The learned Counsel appearing for the non-applicant submits that the delay is not properly explained.

Perusal of the applications shows that the delay has occasioned
(2) C. A. Nos. 16011 & 16013 of 2010 as conscious decision was required to be taken at various levels. Averments made in the applications are not controverted by filing counter affidavit. 4.
Hence, the for the stated reasons Applications are allowed. Delay in filing appeals is condoned. First Appeals be registered. The Civil Application is accordingly disposed of.
